This is an awesome spot to enjoy a senegalese fusion inspired meal. i recommend the grilled salmon with spinach or collard green. the drinks is going rate at $14. dinner for two will run you roughly $100, which is just a little above what i'd like to pay but the music and atmosphere is well worth the price. the waitress are attentive and the bathroom are cleaned. Mondays is the night to visit but i was also told sunday's is dope. i've gone there twice and each time i am just flabbergasted that i didn't know bout this spot years ago. save ur money going to red rooster....this is more representative of hip adult harlemites. PS don't sit by the window or u might as well just keep ur jacket on.

My friend & I randomly came here one Tuesday Night after work and we got some drinks. We had Rum Punch. Now, when I tell yall this rum punch punched us, it body slammed us. We had about 3 each from what I can remember. Definitely recommend that if you looking for a sneaky drink that'll get you twisted real quick. lol. I also had the Fried Shrimp but it was not properly cleaned, so instead, the waiter offered something else from the menu. I chose the catfish strips. It was my first time eating catfish and it was really good. So, I do recommend the catfish strips as an appetizer. Oh, also they do have hookah. But the hookah is a little pricy though. Overall, we had a good time!

I'm looking at some of these other reviews.. they mean nothing to me. The food was soo good. My sister and I were planning to go to a famous restaurant in the area but when we arrived the food and menu did not look appetizing. On the way there we passed Lenox Saphire so we went back because they looked like they were opening. My waiter was great. I'm pretty sure he was also the chef and busboy. We took forever to order because everything looked so good. We had hot wings, jerk wings, mac n cheese, and the Lamb. All of it was really perfectly seasoned and flavourful. I'm planning on going back tonight to try something new. If you are on this side of town, or in the city at all, this is a must. So add it to your places to check out list. Thanks again Lenox Saphire!

The experience here may depend on the hour, the season, or the occasion, because the last time I was here late (but not THAT late) one summer night, it was deserted but for a few people sitting in Hookah smoke and creepily smoking evermore. Didn't linger. But then I came here on a sunny winter Saturday afternoon with two girlfriends to find good music (live-DJ'd 80s/90s/today's rap and R&B), black and beautiful adult crowd, kind service, powerhouse brunch menu of standard American and Senegalese gourmet dishes topping out at $20, plus a bottomless mimosa or "sangria" (more like a thick, frozen purple hurricane shake, watch out) add-on for $25 that they deliver by the carafe; what a deal, because one sip makes your face go numb immediately and any physical or mental pain you might have carried into the place happily drowns. And for all this, I consider the height of the value to have been the food. Friends both had fragrant roasted Dibi Lamb smothered in sautéed onions, while I went for the Thiebu Djen, which is like the pescetarian African answer to French beef bourignon - a thick slab of juicy fish that tastes like it was cooked on an open fire, luxuriating in a stew-worthy tomato sauce chock full of tender chunks of sweet carrot and cassava. Rising up like a little volcanic island from the savory moat is some spicy, chewy broken rice (national staple of Senegal, I'm told) to complement the protein and root vegetables. Oh, also, there are clean, large bathrooms used by clean people! Your day is not going to be ruined by someone slyly having sprayed all over and not cleaned it up. Rare for this city. I can verify this because I was here for hours with various strangers eating and getting progressively drunker for hours and the bathroom stayed the same even after I went at least three different times. I would tell the people of my Brooklyn Park Slope neighborhood to get a load of how Harlem does brunch if they're sick of the boring scene, shrieking kids, degraded bathrooms, and hyped up lines and jacked up prices for basic foods served slowly and grudgingly. But then, this place would no longer be what it is, which is a surviving Harlem business enjoyed by the neighborhood and friends. Make no mistake, I know that I was a guest who got treated like a regular. Will be back here to "visit" again, hoping for the same fun and comforting time in the company of the same friends and good graces of whoever else is there on the day.

I have no words to express the support we received during our cancer awareness which I organized at Sephora on 34th street during the world cancer day . The food was delicious and was free to all the honorees and guests who came to see me and Sinomusanothando Community Development honor the Women of Magnitude and Man of Magnitude 2019 which was publicized on Harlem News. This amazing place donated food together with Chez Luciano which I could not find online to recommend to you. I got to know this place attending their Thursdays Jazz you got to go have the Phil Young Experience by Mr Phil Young a saint that donated the band to play at Sephora as well for our cancer survivors, caregivers and friends. You must support this owner he even gives bread to everyone during Ramadan
